  Produce Connection is a leader in wholesale distribution of fresh and processed produce. We buy a large portion of our products direct from the source.
2.   Tell us something about your company and your efforts to go green and be sustainable:
  Our building utilizes electricity generated through solar panels on our roof. We contract with our solid waste company to bring all our produce scraps to compost facilities. We have been phasing in new trucks that meet or exceed the latest emission standards for diesel vehicles. All of our refrigeration equipment is controlled by an energy management system that turns off blowers when the units are nor in cooling mode and allows for 100% 24 hour live monitoring of all our refrigerated spaces.
